Home sales on the Big Island have slowed a bit from last year’s pace, but home prices have continued to climb, albeit more slowly than in recent months. In a comparison of units sold from April 2004 to April 2005, we have seen a decrease of 8.62% in the number of single family homes sold, but an increase of 7.81% in the average selling price for the North Kona district. Condo sales for the same period also fell by 9.84%,but average prices increased by a huge 60.17% in North Kona.
